We began in 2023 as a group of tourism-passionate students meeting in Arusha. In 2024 that group became Utalii Hub Tanzania, and in 2025 the hub formally launched as Tanzania's first leading tourism hub.
We empower tourism professionals, youth and institutions through collaboration, capacity building, innovation and strategic partnerships that advance sustainable tourism.

When was Utalii Hub Tanzania founded?
The first gathering was in 2023, when a group of tourism-passionate students convened in Arusha as “Utalii wa Ndani Society”. In 2024 that group was re-innovated into Utalii Hub Tanzania, and the hub formally launched in 2025.

We are based in Arusha, Tanzania, often considered the safari capital of East Africa. Our partners and programs reach across Tanzania, East Africa and the wider continent.
